Enterprise Content Management Portal (ECMP)
Knowledge Portals are a vastly growing technology that enables
competency through improved services and reducing time to market. Through Jupiter's
personalized Enterprise Content Management Portal (ECMP) users can locate valuable
information quickly and easily from anywhere.
In addition to the tools specific to managing documents (edit,
import/export, fax scan, etc.), Jupiter also provides the following portlets:
Jupiter Calendar Portlet
Users can manage all their events and schedule tasks from one
location.
Jupiter Mail Portlet
Jupiter's mail portlet integrates with the existing mail client
(i.e. MS Outlook, LotusNotes).
Jupiter Bulletin Board Portlet
Jupiter's electronic forums allows users across the enterprise to
discuss and track business issues and accelerate the decision life cycle.

Advanced Query Capabilities
From the ECMP, the user can build, execute and save frequently
used queries. Users have access to the following search tools from within the ECMP:
Search by Labels
The user enters the label of a document (electronic text, audio, video, image).

Search by Form:>
The user enters the exact values of an index class fields (i.e. name, author, etc.).

Advanced Search
The user can use the simple search wizard to create complex queries without having to
create any SQL statements.

Free Text Retrieval
Every time a document is entered, each word is indexed. This allows for full and rapid
searching of the Knowledge Repository to ensure the user is able to locate the relevant
documents.

Query By Image Content (QBIC)
Jupiter's QBIC functionality provides the ability to locate specific images by comparing
only part of its content.
